Experience hands-on hive inspections with extension apiculturists, observe queen marking and re-queening techniques, and learn integrated pest management strategies effective in Alabama's hot humid climate. Honey tasting stations feature Alabama's signature sourwood, tulip poplar, and cotton blossom honeys. The afternoon workshop on comb honey production is included with registration. Family-friendly with beekeeping suits provided for tours.
