Beekeeping Conference · March 19–20, 2027 · Conway, Arkansas
Arkansas's premier gathering of beekeepers convenes each spring in Conway as the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains prepare for peak honey-flow season. Arkansas produces an extraordinary range of varietal honeys shaped by the state's dramatic geography: tulip poplar and black locust honey from the hardwood mountain coves, delta cotton blossom honey from the flat Mississippi alluvial plain, tallow tree honey from the bottomlands, and summer wildflower honey from the Ozark Highlands. The convention features certification workshops for Arkansas master beekeepers, integrated pest management seminars, youth beekeeping programs through the Arkansas 4-H, a honey competition with varietal judging, and queen-rearing workshops timed to the spring buildup season.
