Stark County's agricultural hub at the edge of the North Dakota Badlands celebrates the rugged sweetness of western plains beekeeping steps from Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Dickinson-area beekeepers and Billings County producers showcase sweet clover, alfalfa, sunflower, native prairie wildflower, and rare Little Missouri River bottomland honey gathered from some of the Great Plains' most distinctive landscapes. Festival programming includes Badlands wildflower pollinator hikes, Teddy Roosevelt conservation history talks, and presentations by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture on the state's position as one of America's top honey-producing regions.
