Beekeeping Conference · March 26–27, 2027 · Muncie, Indiana
Indiana's honey-producing community convenes in Muncie each spring as the state's distinctive midwestern honey season begins across the Hoosier State's rolling farmlands, hardwood corridors, and river-bottom forests. Indiana produces an array of varietal honeys reflecting its agricultural landscape: white clover and sweet clover honey from the grain-farm plains, basswood honey from the hardwood groves of Brown County and the Knobstone Escarpment, tulip poplar honey from the southern Indiana hill country, and wildflower honey from the state's restored prairie parcels. Conference sessions cover integrated pest management, Indiana master beekeeper certification, spring buildup nutrition strategies, local honey marketing, and honey judging — as well as a perennial crowd favorite: a side-by-side tasting of Indiana varietal honeys from across all 92 counties.
