Honey Festival · August 16–18, 2030 · Kenai, Alaska
Set on the banks of the world-famous Kenai River in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula, this late-summer festival brings together Alaska's beekeeping community to celebrate the extraordinary fireweed, wild rose, and boreal wildflower honeys produced in the shadow of the Kenai Mountains. Beekeepers from throughout the peninsula, including operations near Kachemak Bay, the Caribou Hills, and Sterling, showcase their harvest alongside wildlife photographers, salmon guides, and local artisans. Events include honey tasting flights, apiary tours along the Kenai River bench, children's beekeeping activities, and an evening feast pairing local salmon with Kenai Peninsula honey.
