The Kentucky State Fair hosts one of the South's most competitive honey shows, drawing entries from across the Bluegrass State. Classes include sourwood, tulip poplar, wildflower, and specialty honeys, plus beeswax and honey products. Judged against strict AAS criteria. The fair also features a honey-themed cuisine competition, local honey vendors, and a live observation hive in the agriculture hall.
