The Northwest Michigan Beekeepers Association hosts this annual honey show celebrating Michigan's award-winning cherry blossom, basswood, and clover honeys at the Traverse City Civic Center. The competition features amateur and professional divisions judged by certified honey evaluators. The public event includes tastings of Michigan's distinctive honey varietals, beekeeping demonstrations, beeswax candle making, and a farm-to-table honey dinner the evening before the show.
