The Nebraska State Beekeepers Association's flagship annual event, combining a competitive honey show with a public harvest festival. Beekeepers from across Nebraska compete in honey quality, color, and flavor categories. Public festivities include honey extraction demonstrations on vintage and modern equipment, sweet clover and alfalfa honey tastings from Nebraska's rich agricultural heartland, beeswax candle making, and educational exhibits on honey production in the Great Plains.
