New Mexico Rio Grande Honey & Lavender Harvest

The New Mexico Rio Grande Honey & Lavender Harvest celebrates the distinctive desert sage, lavender, and chamisa honeys produced by beekeepers along the Rio Grande Valley and in the high desert regions of northern New Mexico. Held at the Los Ranchos Growers Market in Albuquerque's North Valley, the event features guided honey and lavender pairings, traditional New Mexico cuisine infused with local honey, and demonstrations of pollinator-friendly farming traditions. The New Mexico Beekeepers Association presents educational programs on water conservation for desert apiaries, and artisan vendors offer beeswax soaps, balms, and local honey products.
