Honey Festival · June 14–15, 2029 · Pawtucket, Rhode Island
The birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution hosts this June celebration of Rhode Island's thriving urban and rural beekeeping at the Slater Mill National Historic Landmark where the textile age began. Providence County and northern Rhode Island beekeepers present coastal wildflower, goldenrod, apple blossom, clover, and Blackstone River valley honey gathered from rooftop hives, urban community gardens, and Narragansett Bay shoreline meadows. Festival highlights include heritage orchard honey tours at Neutaconkanut Hill, urban apiary demonstrations at the historic Pawtucket Armory, and Rhode Island School of Design student honey label design competitions celebrating the state's rich craft tradition.
