The Sedona Red Rock Honey & Pollinator Festival celebrates Arizona's extraordinary desert honey biodiversity in one of the Southwest's most scenic settings. Tucked among the iconic red rock formations, this festival showcases saguaro cactus blossom honey, prickly pear honey, desert willow honey, and the prized mesquite varietal. Arizona beekeepers discuss the unique challenges and rewards of desert beekeeping: year-round foraging seasons, Africanized bee management, and the critical role bees play in pollinating native Sonoran Desert plants. Attendees enjoy honey tastings with local cheese and artisan preserves, live hive demonstrations in observation hives, and tours of native pollinator gardens.
