Honey Festival · April 19–20, 2030 · Vicksburg, Mississippi
Vicksburg — the Gibraltar of the Confederacy on the Mississippi River — hosts the 2030 Vicksburg River City Honey & Civil War Heritage Festival at the Battlefield grounds. Warren County beekeepers present tallow tree, gallberry, and Mississippi Delta wildflower honeys. The festival pairs honey tastings with National Military Park guided walks, period-accurate beekeeping demonstrations from Civil War era hives, river levee ecology talks, and a honey and Southern cooking showcase featuring Delta cuisine prepared with local raw honey.
