West Virginia Beekeepers Association Spring Symposium 2027

Beekeeping Conference · March 20–21, 2027 · Morgantown, West Virginia

West Virginia's spring beekeeping symposium kicks off the Mountain State's honey season with education, inspiration, and camaraderie for Appalachian beekeepers. West Virginia produces some of the East's most prized varietal honeys — sourwood from the Allegheny highlands, tulip poplar from the river valleys, black locust from the ridgelines, and basswood from the hardwood coves. The symposium features spring colony management workshops, West Virginia queen-rearing programs, pesticide-free apiary certification, and a tasting pavilion showcasing the state's distinctive mountain honeys. Held as the redbuds and service berries bloom across the Mountain State.
