Produced from Oxydendrum arboreum blooming high in the Appalachian ridges, authentic WV sourwood honey is rare and seasonal. The festival features 20+ regional beekeepers, a sourwood honey judging competition, heritage cider and honey pairings, and guided talks on Appalachian beekeeping traditions.
