Allegheny Highlands Honey & Herb Festival

Honey Festival · July 25–26, 2027 · Lewisburg, West Virginia

Lewisburg — the heart of the Greenbrier Valley — hosts this mountain honey and herb festival celebrating West Virginia's exceptional Appalachian wildflower honeys. The Allegheny Highlands produce some of the most complex raw honeys in the eastern United States, including prized tulip poplar, sourwood, black locust, and multifloral wildflower blends. The festival takes place on the grounds of the West Virginia State Fair site, featuring artisan honey vendor markets, herb-and-honey pairing workshops led by Appalachian herbalists, mead tasting from West Virginia craft meaderies, and guided hive tours at local hobby apiaries. Mountain fiddle and bluegrass music accompanies the weekend celebration.
