About this event

The Connecticut Beekeepers Association presents its popular multi-week spring short course for beginner and intermediate beekeepers. Topics include hive management, swarm prevention, integrated pest management for Varroa mites, honey harvesting, and Connecticut's nectar flow calendar. Expert instructors from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station guide participants through hands-on demonstrations with live hives. Registration opens in February.
