Connecticut Shoreline Honey & Lavender Festival

Honey Festival · July 19–20, 2027 · Madison, Connecticut

The Connecticut Shoreline Honey & Lavender Festival brings together coastal Connecticut beekeepers and lavender growers for a fragrant celebration of late-summer pollination at its finest. Connecticut's diverse honey palette includes linden (basswood), black locust, goldenrod, wildflower, and the unique coastal salt meadow varietals from Long Island Sound farms. Local beekeepers partner with lavender farms in Guilford, Madison, and Old Saybrook for farm tours, honey-lavender pairing tastings, honey mead workshops, and beeswax body care demonstrations. The event celebrates both the Connecticut Beekeepers Association's educational mission and the thriving agritourism economy along the state's shoreline communities.
