This May festival at Fayetteville Town Center celebrates Washington County's honey heritage through producers from across the Ozark mountains of Benton, Washington, and Madison counties, competitive honey shows featuring Arkansas's prized black locust, Ozark wildflower, and basswood varietals, guided tastings pairing Ozark honey with Crystal Bridges Museum-inspired artisan foods, educational programs on the resurgence of beekeeping in rapidly urbanizing mountain communities, and demonstrations connecting the botanical richness of the Ozark National Forest with the extraordinary diversity of Northwest Arkansas honey varietals.
