Flemington — the historic courthouse town at the center of New Jersey's most rural county — hosts the 2030 Flemington Hunterdon County Honey & Farm Heritage Festival at the Flemington Fairgrounds. Hunterdon County beekeepers present blueberry blossom, tulip poplar, black locust, and clover honeys from the Musconetcong and Raritan river valleys. The festival features the New Jersey Beekeepers Association annual honey show, farm-to-table honey pairing dinners, heritage breed livestock exhibits, orchard tours, and a Hunterdon County agricultural preservation demonstration honoring the last great farming county in the New York metro region.
