Honey Tasting · September 18–19, 2027 · Natchitoches, Louisiana
Natchitoches — Louisiana's oldest city — hosts this unique fall festival celebrating two of the Bayou State's finest agricultural products. Local honey producers pour Louisiana's late-summer honeys including cotton blossom, boneset, goldenrod, and aster varietals. Honey-infused sweet potato dishes take center stage in a cooking competition featuring Creole recipes. The Cane River Heritage Area setting provides a beautiful backdrop for honey tasting tours, artisan markets, and apiary tours at nearby bee yards along the Red River floodplain. Live Cajun and zydeco music throughout.
