Honey Tasting · August 14, 2027 · Danville, Kentucky
Kentucky Honey & Bourbon Tasting Pairing Experience combines two of the Commonwealth’s most celebrated artisan traditions—small-batch bourbon distilling and artisan honey production—in an intimate multi-course tasting event. Held at a working distillery in the Bourbon Trail corridor, the event pairs single-origin Kentucky honeys (sourwood, tulip poplar, basswood, clover) with craft bourbons, exploring how honey’s floral and caramel notes complement aged whiskey profiles. Master beekeepers from the Kentucky State Beekeepers Association lead honey variety discussions, while distillery hosts guide bourbon education. The evening includes honey-inspired cocktail workshops and a local honey and cheese charcuterie spread.
