At the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers, Lewiston hosts Idaho's only sea-level city honey festival celebrating the lower canyon's exceptional orchard honey country. Beekeepers from the Clearwater, Potlatch, and Camas Prairie bring peach blossom, apple blossom, cherry blossom, and camas wildflower varietals. Lewis-Clark State College hosts pollinator science demonstrations, and the festival includes Nez Perce cultural programming honoring the valley's Indigenous heritage.
