Logan Cache Valley Honey & Utah Wildflower Heritage Festival 2027

Honey Festival · July 17–18, 2027 · Logan, Utah

Logan — Cache County’s seat in Cache Valley on the Bear River, the Utah State University home city at the northern Wasatch Front where the valley’s dairy agriculture, alfalfa production, and proximity to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest create a diverse honey landscape of mountain wildflower, alfalfa, and canyon flora varietals — hosts this summer honey and heritage festival at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Cache Valley’s honey landscape is shaped by the valley’s agricultural heritage and the surrounding mountain ranges: the intensive alfalfa cultivation of the valley floor produces prolific alfalfa-blossom honey, while the Bear River Range to the east and the Wellsvilles to the west contribute high-altitude wildflower, mountain aster, and canyon flora that Cache Valley beekeepers incorporate into mountain wildflower varietal blends of distinctive character. The festival features Cache County and northern Utah beekeepers presenting alfalfa, mountain wildflower, and canyon flora varietal honeys; educational programs from Utah State University Extension Apiology; demonstrations of high-altitude mountain hive management; artisan vendors featuring Cache Valley dairy, artisan cheese, and honey pairings; family programs on Utah wildflower pollinator ecology; and guided apiary tours in the alfalfa fields and mountain meadows surrounding Logan Canyon.
