A two-day intensive beekeeping education program offered by the LSU AgCenter, covering subtropical beekeeping for Louisiana's hot humid climate, varroa mite management, queen rearing, and marketing local Louisiana honey. Open to beginning and intermediate beekeepers. Taught by LSU Extension apiculturists and local master beekeepers.
