The Arkansas Beekeepers Association's summer short course provides hands-on beekeeping education at a working apiary in the Arkansas River Valley. Arkansas' diverse flora — from Ozark Mountains to Delta bottomlands — produces outstanding tulip poplar, white Dutch clover, persimmon, and cotton honeys. Features live hive inspections, queen-rearing demonstrations, honey extraction, and tastings of Arkansas' regional varietal honeys.
