Apiary Tour · June 12–13, 2027 · Harrison, Arkansas
The Ozark Mountains Honey & Heritage Trail Weekend invites visitors to tour working apiaries throughout the Arkansas Ozarks, one of America's most productive wildflower honey regions. Arkansas beekeepers produce some of the finest black locust, tulip poplar, and Ozark wildflower honeys in the nation, along with buckwheat honey from river-bottom fields. Self-guided apiary tours connect participants with multi-generational beekeeping families who have worked these hills for decades. Stops include honey house tours, comb honey harvesting demonstrations, mead tastings, and farm-to-table meals featuring honey-infused Arkansas cuisine. Evening barn events feature live bluegrass music and local artisan markets.
