The Montana Big Sky Honey & Wildflower Festival celebrates the extraordinary sweet clover, alfalfa, fireweed, and purple vetch honeys harvested across Montana's vast high-plains and mountain valleys. Held at the Billings MetraPark fairgrounds, this two-day event brings together beekeepers from across the Big Sky State for honey tastings, live hive demonstrations, and educational seminars on winterizing colonies in Montana's extreme climate. The Montana State Beekeepers Association presents awards for the finest honeys, and local chefs prepare honey-infused dishes showcasing Montana's agricultural bounty.
