Nevada Basin & Range Honey Festival

Honey Festival · May 15–16, 2027 · Carson City, Nevada

The Nevada Basin & Range Honey Festival showcases the desert wildflower, desert bloom, and alfalfa honeys produced by Nevada's beekeepers across the Great Basin's unique high-desert ecosystem. Held at Mills Park in Carson City, the festival pairs Nevada honeys with locally crafted meads, artisan cheeses, and small-batch spirits, while beekeepers from Clark, Washoe, and Lyon counties display hive products ranging from raw comb honey to whipped creamed honey. The Nevada Beekeepers Association hosts workshops on desert hive management, water provisioning for bees, and survival strategies for Nevada's challenging climate.
