Reno Sierra Nevada Honey & Great Basin Pollinator Festival 2029

The Biggest Little City hosts this early summer celebration at the intersection of Sierra Nevada mountain flora and Great Basin desert ecology. Washoe County and Douglas County beekeepers showcase desert wildflower, alfalfa, sage, rabbitbrush, and Sierra mountain meadow honeys from elevations ranging from 4,500 to over 9,000 feet. The Nevada Wildflower Society co-hosts botanical walks through the Truckee River corridor, while local meaderies pour craft Nevada mead and honey-infused cocktails at the Riverwalk District.
