Rutland County's premier honey fair in Vermont's second-largest city, the historic Marble Capital of the World set in the Otter Creek valley between the Green Mountains and the Taconic Range. Local beekeepers present apple blossom, basswood, goldenrod, black locust, and mountain wildflower honeys from one of Vermont's most productive agricultural regions. The fair includes honey judging, marble quarry heritage tours, Vermont Beekeepers Association presentations, farm-to-table honey dinners, mead and cider tastings, and educational programming for aspiring apiarists.
