Honey Festival · July 24–25, 2027 · Corvallis, Oregon
Oregon's Willamette Valley — famous for its wine, filberts, and berry crops — hosts this summer celebration of the region's extraordinary honey bee culture at Corvallis's Benton County Fairgrounds. The valley's mild maritime climate and diverse agriculture produce world-class varietal honeys including fireweed, meadowfoam (Oregon's signature honey), blackberry, and Himalayan blackberry. Festival attractions include live extraction demonstrations, meadowfoam honey tastings — its distinctive coconut-vanilla notes draw honey connoisseurs nationwide — guided farm tours to working Willamette Valley apiaries, and a pollinator meadow walk. Oregon State University's Honey Bee Lab presents research on Willamette Valley queen rearing and colony health.
