Honey Festival · August 9–10, 2029 · Bar Harbor, Maine
On the doorstep of Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor hosts Maine's most scenic honey festival celebrating the island and coastal wildflower honeys unique to Downeast Maine. Hancock County beekeepers bring the legendary wild blueberry blossom honey, goldenrod, coastal wildflower, and sea lavender varieties harvested from MDI's pink granite cliffs and meadows. Carriage road bike tours through Acadia connect with honey tasting stations at Jordan Pond House, and the festival includes a "Taste of Acadia" honey pairing dinner.
