The Chicago Botanic Garden hosts its popular annual Honey Bee Days celebrating the essential role of bees in our food system. The weekend event features live hive demonstrations by master beekeepers, guided pollinator garden tours, honey tasting stations showcasing Illinois prairie and urban honey varietals, hands-on beekeeping workshops for adults and children, and native wildflower planting sessions. The event includes displays from the Illinois State Beekeepers Association and Midwest honey producers.
