The Dallas Metroplex Honey & Urban Beekeeping Expo highlights the booming urban beekeeping movement across DFW and the diverse wildflower, yaupon, and huajillo honeys of North Texas. The expo draws backyard beekeepers, local honey producers, and honey enthusiasts for a day of tastings, live hive demonstrations, and workshops on urban hive placement and Texas-specific bee management. Local restaurants showcase honey-infused dishes, and artisan vendors offer beeswax products, lip balms, and candles. The Texas Honey Queen Program makes its annual appearance to promote beekeeping education statewide.
