Honey Fair · July 24, 2027 · Harrington, Delaware
The Delaware State Fair's annual Honey Show is one of the Mid-Atlantic region's most competitive honey exhibitions, drawing entries from Delaware and neighboring states showcasing Delmarva Peninsula's unique honey traditions. Delaware beekeepers produce exceptional varietal honeys shaped by the Peninsula's tidal wetlands, coastal forests, and agricultural fields: tulip poplar from the piedmont woodlands, gallberry and titi from the southern wetlands, beach plum and sea lavender from the Delaware Bay shoreline, and clover and wildflower from the Peninsula's fertile farmlands. The show includes hands-on extraction demos, queen-rearing displays, and a meet-the-beekeeper pavilion.
