This September festival at Natural Bridge State Park celebrates Rockbridge County's deep beekeeping heritage alongside its Civil War and antebellum history, featuring honey from Rockbridge, Augusta, and Bath County producers in the upper Shenandoah Valley, guided interpretive walks through the Natural Bridge limestone karst wildflower gardens, presentations on how Virginia beekeeping shaped the state's pre-Civil War agricultural economy, and honey-and-Virginia wine pairings at the event's artisan marketplace.
