Marquette County beekeepers showcase boreal wildflower, fireweed, basswood, and wild raspberry honeys harvested from the pristine forests of Hiawatha National Forest and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore corridor. Highlights include hive observation stations, UP-style pasty tastings drizzled with local honey, lakeshore honey foraging walks, and competitions judged by Northern Michigan University extension apiculturists.
