Annual summer apiary tour organized by the Oklahoma State Beekeepers Association visiting working apiaries across northeastern Oklahoma. Participants observe honey extraction, meet beekeepers producing native prairie wildflower, goldenrod, and tallow tree honey, and sample varietal honeys unique to the Cross Timbers and Osage Plains regions. Includes demonstrations of comb honey production and hive management in Oklahoma's hot summer climate.
