The Research Triangle Honey & Craft Beverage Festival in Raleigh brings together North Carolina beekeepers, mead makers, and craft brewers who use local honey in their recipes. North Carolina's unique sourwood honey from the Blue Ridge Mountains and its coastal gallberry and tupelo honeys are celebrated through guided tastings, pairing seminars, and producer meet-and-greets. The event features live hive demonstrations, workshops on North Carolina's beekeeping regulations and varroa management, and a honey show judged by NC State University apiculture faculty. Held at the Raleigh Convention Center.
