Beekeeping Conference · January 26–28, 2028 · Yakima, Washington
The Washington State Beekeepers Association's annual winter meeting at the Yakima Convention Center brings together beekeepers from across the Pacific Northwest — from the rain-soaked coastal rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula to the sun-baked agricultural valleys of Eastern Washington. The program addresses Washington's remarkably bipolar beekeeping environments: west-side beekeeping in the maritime fog belt with its bigleaf maple, fireweed, and cascara flora versus east-side production in the Columbia Basin's irrigated alfalfa, mint, and orchard country. The honey show celebrates Washington's diverse regional varietals, from Puget Sound's fireweed honeys to Eastern Washington's clover and mint offerings.
