Rochester — home of the Mayo Clinic and gateway to the Driftless Area — hosts the 2030 Rochester Olmsted County Honey & Driftless Heritage Market at Silver Lake Park. Southeast Minnesota beekeepers offer basswood, sweet clover, and wildflower honeys from the unglaciated Driftless bluffs and Root River valley. Visitors enjoy honey tastings, kayak-based pollinator corridor tours along the Zumbro River, and a collaboration with local health researchers exploring the nutritional properties of raw Minnesota honey.
