Maters & Co Pure Black Seed Honey

Monofloral black seed honey from Maters & Co, harvested in Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia, where bees forage on the flowers of Nigella sativa. It is a blossom honey, not honey with seeds or oil stirred in. The honey is dark, thick and slow-pouring, with medium sweetness, an earthy, slightly peppery edge and a warm aroma of toasted herbs and wood. It is raw, never heated or micro-filtered. The flavour is strong, so use it sparingly: with labneh and flatbread, over roasted carrots, or in a spiced tea.
