Acacia honey is the trade name for honey from black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia), a North American tree that has been planted widely across Europe; in Europe the main producers include Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy. It is pale, often nearly clear, with a mild, delicate floral sweetness that some sellers compare to vanilla. Its high fructose content keeps it liquid much longer than most honeys. The buy link goes to Savannah Bee Company's Acacia Honey, a 12 oz jar from Hungary and Romania; the same honey is sold in 3 oz and 20 oz jars.
