Raw sourwood honey sold by Built By Bees, a honey company in Chamblee, Georgia, from a beekeeper in North Georgia at the southern tip of the Appalachian Mountains. The honey comes from the nectar of the sourwood tree (Oxydendrum arboreum), which blooms there from June to July. The seller describes it as delicate and smooth, with anise, spice, clove and caramel notes. Sold in a 3 oz jar, a 12 oz jar, 16 oz squeeze and glass jars, and a 16 oz jar with a piece of honeycomb.
