Raw tupelo honey from Bee Friends Farm, a Jacksonville, Florida beekeeping business started in 2013 by beekeeper Michael Leach. The farm says its bees forage on white tupelo blossoms in the river valleys of Northeast Florida and sells it as a mono-floral honey. It describes the taste as balanced, buttery and fruity, with a smooth finish. Because the tupelo bloom is short, this harvest is offered only in a limited supply of 12 oz jars, pure and unfiltered. Use it in tea, on warm biscuits or on a charcuterie board.
