Manawa Raw Kanuka Honey

Raw kanuka honey from Manawa Honey, harvested in the Te Urewera forest on New Zealand's North Island. Kanuka (Kunzea ericoides) is a native tea-tree related to manuka but a separate species, and its honey is lighter and cleaner-tasting. Expect a crisp, aromatic flavour with butterscotch notes and a silky body. The honey is extracted without heating or fine filtering. It won a Top 10 category place at the 2022 Black Jar International Honey Tasting Contest in Asheville. Use it on toast, stirred into plain yoghurt, or in a honey-lemon salad dressing where manuka would be too strong.
