Raw, unfiltered wild blackberry honey from Oregon Growers, a farm-direct specialty food company in Hood River, Oregon. The honey comes from beekeepers in the Columbia Gorge whose bees work wild blackberry blossoms, and the company names it for that floral source. It is kept raw and unfiltered, which the company says preserves its subtle flavors. Wild blackberry grows thickly along Pacific Northwest roadsides and riverbanks and blooms in early summer. Sold in an 18 oz glass jar. Use it on buttered biscuits, whisk it into a berry vinaigrette, or stir it into plain yogurt with granola.
