Sun River Natural Creamed Honey

Creamed honey from Sun River Honey, a family apiary near Grandora, Saskatchewan, running since 1997. The bees work mainly canola and alfalfa on the surrounding prairie, and the honey is left unpasteurized and whipped into a soft, white, spreadable cream. The flavour is mild and clean with a buttery mouthfeel and no strong floral note, typical of prairie canola honey. It spreads on toast straight from the jar without tearing the bread and melts evenly into porridge and hot drinks. Sold as a 500 g single jar or a 1 kg tub.
