Toprak Dogal Ardahan Highland Flower Honey

Multifloral highland honey from the Ardahan plateaus of northeastern Turkey, 1,700 to 2,200 metres up near the Caucasus, packed by Toprak Dogal in a 300 g glass jar. Ardahan Cicek Bali has held Turkish protected geographical indication status since 2017, and the region's Caucasian bees reach deep tubular mountain flowers. The honey is deep golden-amber with a soft floral aroma, a rich, rounded taste and a thick texture. It can crystallize in a cool kitchen. Serve it the Turkish way at breakfast with kaymak or white cheese, olives and fresh bread.
