Raw Honey Guide is an independent reference on honey: varieties, prices, local sources, events and buying guidance. We do not sell honey or take orders. The site shows display ads, described on our privacy page. We take no payment for coverage; our standards are on the editorial policy.

The guides are general information. They are not medical, legal or financial advice. You can quote a short passage if you link to the page you quote. The articles and photos are not openly licensed, so ask before you republish a whole page or a photo.

The honey catalog and the US Honey Price Index on open data are licensed CC BY 4.0. You can copy, change and use them, commercially too. Credit them as Raw Honey Guide, rawhoneyguide.com, link to the license, and say if you changed the data.

The public read endpoints under /api/ and the MCP server at https://rawhoneyguide.com/api/mcp are free, read-only and need no key or account.

• Keep to 300 requests per minute per IP. The MCP server enforces that limit and answers HTTP 429 above it.
• For bulk use, download the published exports on open data instead of paging through the API.
• There is no uptime promise. We may change or withdraw an endpoint, and we will note it on the open data page.
• Every tool answer includes the URL of the page it came from. Cite that page, and do not present our data or a tool answer as Raw Honey Guide endorsing a product, shop or event.

Local-source listings and events come from public pages, owners and organizers. Photos credited to an owner or organizer are used with their permission, recorded on photo permissions. If you run a listed business or event and want something changed or removed, email hello@rawhoneyguide.com. We handle it within 2 business days.

What we store when you sign up for the newsletter, submit an event or send a message is on the privacy page. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

We check facts against named sources, but a page can still be wrong or out of date: prices change, shops close and events move. The content, data and tools are provided as is, with no warranty. Check anything that matters, such as a price, opening hours or an event date, with the seller or organizer before you rely on it. We are not responsible for what a seller, organizer or linked site does.

The effective date at the top changes whenever these terms change. Material changes, including any change to the API, the MCP server or the data license, are announced on open data.
